Clara's path with art is untraditional. She began drawing on her tablet and moved to acrylic paint after moving to Baltimore. Her work explores the body as a porous form, allowing the inner world and nature to dissolve and merge onto one another. She paints vulnerability as growth, asking what happens when we allow ourselves to soften, feel and surrender to our surroundings.
